What are the Love Note Recipes?
The “Love Note Recipe” book is a culmination of recipes from people that I love and hold dear to my heart. Each recipe being somewhat of a love note to the next person that makes the meal. I asked each person for a recipe that they love to share and makes them feel loved. Not being too specific in asking for any certain type of recipe. The intention behind this book being to let you create connections and share the recipe with someone you love.
What was my vision?
To create a brand that is simple and welcoming to all. Whether you are an experienced chef, or you have never picked up a spatula, the Love Note Recipes are open connections not perfection.
How did I accomplish my goal?
Something that I really value is personal connection with others. It can be shown in typically five different ways: physical touch, gift giving, quality time, acts of service, and words of affirmation. Something that combines most, if not all, of these things is cooking. Someone physically touches each ingredient and combines them to create the meal. They give you a meal as a gift. They spend quality time either making the food for you, with you, or eating it with you. The making of the meal is an act of service, and if the meal is good you would typically give words of affirmation to the cook, or they would thank you for coming to share a meal with them.
